2. What Information We Collect

When you use BeeVision we collect only the following:

• Google account name and email address — collected when you sign in with Google, used solely to identify your account.
• Google profile picture — displayed in the app header. Not stored on our servers.
• Unique Google User ID — a non-personal identifier used to associate your records with your account securely.
• Hive inspection notes — the text you enter or speak during an inspection, including hive names, apiary names, and observations.
• Timestamps — the date and time of each inspection submission.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To display your name and profile picture in the app
• To save your hive inspection records and make them retrievable by you
• To send inspection reminder emails if you opt in
• To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any automated profiling.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

Your inspection records are stored in a Google Sheet secured within Google's infrastructure. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not store your data on any third-party servers outside Google's infrastructure.

5. Who Can See Your Data

Your inspection records are private to your account. No other BeeVision user can view your data. Only the BeeVision administrator has access to the underlying Google Sheet for maintaining the service. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party — ever.

6. Google Sign-In

BeeVision uses Google Identity Services for authentication. We request only the minimum permissions necessary — your name, email, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.

You can revoke BeeVision's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Data Retention

Your records are retained as long as you use BeeVision, or until you request deletion. If you stop using the service your data will be deleted within 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

8. Your Rights

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all inspection records
• Portability — request your data in a downloadable CSV format
• Withdraw consent — revoke Google Sign-In access via your Google account settings

9. Children's Privacy

BeeVision is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as BeeVision evolves. We will update the date at the top and notify registered users by email for significant changes.

11. California Residents (CCPA)
